Meet our Pastor, Dr. Robert D. Parsons
Pastor Rob's Bio: Originally from Rush, KY, Pastor Rob has been in ministry for 11 years. He and he wife Renee will be celebrating their 11th wedding anniversary in November of this year, and they have two beautiful daughters: Sarah, 8 and Hannah, 3. Besides being a pastor, Rob has worked in many areas of ministry including children and youth, technology, conference leading, and missions. He is coming to Emmanuel from Waldo, FL where he served as minister of youth and education and associate to the senior pastor for 5 years. Pastor Rob has worked as a paramedic and firefighter. He enjoys table tennis, is an official Babe Ruth umpire, and is learning how to play the bass. Pastor Rob is vision oriented with a heart for the lost. He says that he is “honored to get to be a part of what God is doing in Hyrum.”

Emmanuel Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist Church, located in Hyrum City Utah at the South-East end of Beautiful Cache Valley Utah.
Church service begins with Sunday school at 9:30 am each Sunday, with service beginning at 10:45 am. We also have Bible Study every Tuesday night at 7 PM, with a dinner at the Church starting at 6 PM. Pot faith is held on the first Sunday of each month (Pot Faith is our monthly Fellowship dinner, and everyone brings a dish to share).
