Steve Winters -
Pastor
Pastor Steve was born and
raised in Indianapolis, Indiana.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from
Utah
State
University, a Master of Divinity, and Master of
Religious Education from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary at
Kansas City,
MO.
Pastor
Steve retired as a Navy Chaplain after 22 years of military service.
Pastor Steve and his wife Kathy have
been married for 40 years. They have three children and eight
grandchildren.
Pastor
Steve and Kathy moved to the intermountain west in 2002 serving at
Falls Southern Baptist Church in Idaho Falls, ID before being called
to Emmanuel Baptist Church in 2010. Pastor Steve has served as a
youth minister, pastor and Navy Chaplain. He has served at the
association level as moderator and interim Director of Missions and
as a member and chairman of the UISBC Executive Board.
Christy Holmes-Minister
of Education
Christy was born and raised in Marshall, Missouri. She holds a
Bachelor of arts in Church Recreation and Youth Ministry from
Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, MO. and a Master of
Religious Education from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in
Kansas City, MO. Christy served 10 years in Missouri as youth and
education Minister before coming to Emmanuel Baptist were she has
served for the last 12 years.
Christy and her husband have
been married for 2 years and consider it a privilege to be able to
serve their church family together.
Christy has served on the Vacation Bible School,
Sunday School and Disaster Relief Training teams for the Utah Idaho
Southern Baptist Convention.
Charolene
Neilson -
Church
Secretary
Charolene Neilson was born
in Los Angeles, CA.
She has been active in church activities since becoming a believer
45 years ago. Cache Valley
has been her home since 1971 when she moved with her family to
North Logan,
UT. She is the
mother of six. She has a heart to serve and loves to help.
